About Kesher Academy
Kesher Academy is a new public charter school opening in Henderson, Nevada, in the 2026–27 school year. As an affiliate member of the Hebrew Public network of schools, Kesher Academy will provide students with a high-quality education that integrates Modern Hebrew language and global citizenship. Kesher Academy will open with grades K-2 in the school year 2026 and will add one grade each year until it reaches its full capacity as a K-8 elementary and middle school campus. We are seeking a dynamic, mission-driven leader to join the school’s founding team and lead student recruitment and community engagement efforts in Henderson.
Position Overview
The Student Recruitment and Community Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for cultivating strong and lasting connections between Kesher Academy and the Henderson community. Serving as the public face of the school, this individual will ensure that families, stakeholders, and partners feel engaged, welcomed, and inspired by the school’s mission. The primary goal of the role is to successfully recruit the projected number of students for the founding kindergarten through second grade classes.
Key Responsibilities
Community and Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and sustain partnerships with local community organizations, faith groups, nonprofits, and civic leaders to raise awareness of Kesher Academy.
- Represent the school at community events, fairs, and gatherings.
- Collaborate closely with the founding team to align outreach strategy with school goals.
Parent/Family Engagement
- Build trust and authentic relationships with prospective and current families.
- Host school information sessions, open houses, and family workshops to share the school’s mission and offerings.
- Develop systems to engage parents as ambassadors for the school.
Student Recruitment
- Lead recruitment campaigns to meet enrollment targets for Kesher Academy’s first year and beyond.
- Develop and manage a recruitment calendar including community events, canvassing, digital outreach, and partnerships with feeder day cares and organizations.
- Track enrollment metrics and provide regular progress reports to the leadership team.
Board and Authorizer Relations
- Support the school board in its community-facing role, ensuring they are equipped with updates and outreach tools.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with the school’s authorizer, ensuring compliance and clear communication.
Cross-Network Relationships
- Serve as a key liaison with the founding team, share best practices and learn from other network schools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
- Experience in community engagement, student recruitment, outreach, or related fields.
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills and ability to connect with diverse families and communities.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Event planning, grassroots organizing, or marketing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in Henderson is a plus.
- Commitment to the mission of Kesher Academy and the success of all children.
- Multilingual skills preferred but not required.

Salary & Benefits
Job Type: Full Time non-exempt employee
Salary: $48,000-$65,000
