Purpose of Position:
Provide medically prescribed treatment programs for adult and pediatric patients to restore function and prevent disability, following the principles and practices of physical therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate new patients, set measurable treatment goals, and develop treatment plans.

Administer diagnostic tests to determine impairments and prognosis.

Carry out treatment modalities, re-evaluate progress, and adjust plans as needed.

Educate patients and families, provide documentation, and communicate with caregivers.

Guide Physical Therapist Assistants, Aides, and students; assist in training new staff.

Maintain departmental policies, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Participate in professional development through workshops, education programs, and meetings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Licensed to practice in Massachusetts.

Current BLS certification.

Strong communication skills in English.
