Dson Visits: Conservation in Action Career Trek

Conservation in Action: A Career Trek to Maryland’s Eastern Shore 
Friday, March 13 (end of Spring Break), 7:00am–10:00pm 

Spend a full day along Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay shoreline exploring coastal restoration and conservation projects with Christine Burns ’14 (Maryland Department of Natural Resources) and Riley Kuehn ’23 (Arundel Rivers Federation)

Highlights include visits to Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary and Franklin Point State Park, where you’ll learn about living shorelines, habitat restoration, and estuarine research through immersive outdoor activities and hands-on experiences. Transportation is provided to and from Dickinson. 
 

Interested students must submit their application by Friday, February 13 at 11:59pm

Students will be notified of their participation by noon on Wednesday, 2/18. 

Selected participants must attend a mandatory information session on Zoom on Tuesday, February 24 at noon
