Adjunct: Computer Information Systems - Fundamentals of Business (Spring/Summer 2026)

ABOUT COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS 117- FUNDAMENTALS OF BUSINESS:  This course provides students with a solid foundation in core computer technologies, including Internet concepts, operating systems, and common business software. The instructor will teach Microsoft Office applications - with an emphasis on advanced Excel skills - and guide students through creating professional documents, presentations, and spreadsheets. The ideal candidate can deliver hands-on instruction that builds practical, workplace-ready technology competencies.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and learning, adaptability, a positive attitude and a willingness to embrace technology. This person will strive to create and maintain personal connections with students and the college community.   

They must be a friendly, enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic who contributes to Genesee's supportive community, dedicated to effective innovative strategies for student success.  Must demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion as well as the ability to establish and maintain a positive learning environment.  Incumbent must be mindful of and develop solutions that can accommodate all individuals to use GCC facilities without barriers, both digitally and physically.

 


Requirements:
 

Master's Degree in the subject area is required.  Teaching experience in a community college is preferred.  Incumbent will be required to instruct online.

SALARY & CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
