As our Sports Advertising and Marketing Intern focused on government relations, you won't just be observing – you'll be actively involved in shaping the policies that govern the sports world. You'll be the strategic support behind the scenes, helping to advance our agenda and make a real difference.

  • Connecting the Dots: Play a key role in preparing follow-up materials for high-stakes meetings and responding to requests for vital data and analysis from governmental and legislative authorities.

Do You Have the Strategic Edge?

  • You're available for crucial team meetings on Mondays at 9:00 AM, Wednesdays at 10:00 AM, and Fridays at 8:00 AM Mountain Standard Time. (Skill Bridge participants will also connect on Thursdays at 9:00 AM MST).
  • You're a current undergraduate student majoring in government relations or a closely related field.
  • You have a knack for analyzing complex and sensitive intergovernmental issues and aren't afraid to develop and present recommendations.
  • You're a critical and strategic thinker who sees the bigger picture.
  • You possess the ability to make appropriate and sound decisions after carefully considering all options.
  • Your verbal and written communication skills are sharp and persuasive.
  • You're a master of time management, planning, and organization, with an unwavering attention to detail.
  • You're a self-starter who can work effectively with minimal direction and supervision.
  • You're committed to the timely completion of projects and possess the flexibility to tackle unexpected assignments.
  • You can thrive both independently and as a valuable member of a dynamic team.
  • You understand the importance of following policies and procedures.
  • You're proficient (or eager to learn quickly) in Google Docs (Word, Excel) and Slack, and comfortable with Zoom for weekly calls.
