About Ximu Youth Golf Academy

Ximu Youth Golf Academy is a growing youth sports program that partners with schools across Los Angeles to bring fun, structured golf enrichment to students in grades TK–5. Our mission is to build confidence, coordination, and character through golf fundamentals — all in a supportive, positive environment.

We provide all equipment, curriculum, and training.

Position Overview

We are seeking energetic, reliable, kid-friendly instructors to help run our after-school golf enrichment sessions. No previous golf teaching experience required — we provide full training.

This role is perfect for:

College students (Kinesiology, ECE, Education, Recreation)

Coaches or athletes

Babysitters, camp counselors, or anyone who loves working with kids

Anyone wanting flexible part-time work after school

Schedule

Weekdays between 2:00pm–4:30pm (depending on school site)

1–3 days per week

Each session is 1 hour

Additional coaching opportunities may become available

Responsibilities

Assist 1-hour golf lessons for students TK–5

Teach basic fundamentals: putting, chipping, full swing

Maintain a safe, positive, encouraging class environment

Manage small groups (8–12 students)

Set up and break down equipment (nets, mats, cones, putters, etc.)

Communicate professionally with school staff

Follow the Ximu curriculum and coaching standards

Requirements

Must enjoy working with kids

Reliable transportation to school sites

Clear communication and strong classroom presence

Ability to lift and carry equipment (light/medium)

Pass background check (LiveScan)

Punctual and dependable

Preferred but Not Required

Experience working with children (camps, coaching, babysitting, tutoring, recreation)

Experience in sports or golf (helpful but not required — we train you)

CPR/First Aid certification a plus

Pay & Benefits

$30-$40 per hour (depending on experience)

All equipment provided at campus by lead instructor

Opportunity for additional hours may become available
