Speech-Language Pathologist (Travel Reimbursement possible)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in private practice settings and a strong background in pediatrics. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
- Provide speech therapy interventions focusing on communication skills, articulation, language development, and social skills.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support the child’s development.
- Implement early intervention strategies for children with speech delays or disorders.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices and techniques.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
