Job description

Established Private Preparatory school located in Arcadia, California, is seeking a charismatic elementary grade English teacher for a part-time position. Classes are small with fewer than 15 students. All teaching curricula will be provided.  Classes are held on Monday and Wednesday.   Class time options are 3 pm - 6 pm or 4 pm to 6 pm, depending on the teacher's availability. 

Candidate should:

  • Have finished a Bachelor's degree
  • Be versed in classroom management
  • Ideal applicant is credentialed or preliminary credentialed
  • Have 6 months of teaching experience
  • Have experience working with either elementary or  middle school-aged students
  • Commit to a set teaching schedule from January 5, 2026, to May 29, 2026

Positions:

  • 4th Grade English in Arcadia on Monday and Wednesday
  • 8th Grade English Rowland Heights on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
