We are seeking a Mechanical Field Engineer Intern to support our project management and field teams throughout the construction lifecycle. This internship is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience on active commercial job sites while learning the fundamentals of mechanical construction, HVAC, and plumbing systems.

What You’ll Learn & Support:

Assist Project Managers with coordination, scheduling, procurement, and documentation

Review submittals, RFIs, and drawings alongside the project team

Track equipment and material deliveries

Support jobsite coordination with field teams and subcontractors

Attend project meetings and help with progress updates

Maintain project logs and documentation

Learn safety standards and quality control practices on active job sites

What You Bring:

Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

Interest in commercial HVAC and plumbing construction

Ability to read or willingness to learn how to read mechanical drawings

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Office; exposure to Procore or Bluebeam is a plus, but not required

Willingness to travel to local job sites throughout the DMV region
