Software Developer Intern - Summer 2026 - Onsite in Dallas, TX

We are looking for a Software Developer Intern to support our IT/IS teams in the company's Physician Revenue Cycle Management functions. This position will give you the opportunity to gain valuable experience while you integrate knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and develop your skills in a professional setting. 

 

Program Overview:

  • Full-Time, Paid Internship
  • Onsite in Dallas, TX
  • June 1, 2026 - July 31, 2026

Internship Description:

  • Project-based work within assigned business function
  • High-quality professional day-to-day execution of initiatives and special projects
  • Learn about key revenue cycle artifacts.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Ideal for motivated individuals eager to apply software development skills in a real-world healthcare setting.
  • Other projects as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Understanding of database concepts and exposure to SQL.
  • Experience with at least one programming language (Python, C#, or Java preferred).
  • Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative and solve problems.
  • Interest in the healthcare industry and/or revenue cycle management is a plus.
