IT Corporate Systems Intern - Summer 2026 - Onsite in Dallas, TX

We are looking for an IT Corporate Systems Intern to support our team in operational functions of the company, particularly in IT cost analysis and reporting. This will give you the opportunity to gain valuable experience while you integrate knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and develop your skills in a professional setting.

 

Program Overview:

  • Full-Time, Paid Internship
  • Onsite in Dallas, TX
  • June 1, 2026 - July 31, 2026

Internship Description:

  • Develop process and procedures for identifying IT chargeback opportunities. 
  • Develop tracking and reporting mechanisms for above chargeback opportunities. 
  • Opportunity to participate and learn about corporate IT, corporate finance, FP&A and operations while completing projects that are value added to the business. 
  • Weekly check ins with Manager on performance & objectives.
  • Willingness to promote academic, career and personal development.
  • Opportunity to provide and receive feedback.
  • Utilize problem solving skills.
  • Assists in special projects, as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Prefer candidates at the sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student level pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Computer Science or a similar major with strong communication and data analysis skills.
  • Interest in learning about healthcare corporate finance and IT operations.
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced skills preferred), PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
  • Exhibits exceptional verbal, written and interactive communication skills.
  • Demonstrates effective research tactics, good organizational skills.
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers.
  • Commits to continuous learning; being self‐motivated and self‐directed.
  • Ability to work independently with sense of urgency to task completion.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
