This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in sales, marketing, or entrepreneurship to gain practical skills in a fast-paced environment. As a small family-owned business, you will have the opportunity to be exposed to different aspects that go into manufacturing, sales, and the day-to-day operations of running a small business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in researching potential clients, markets, and industry trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Support the preparation of sales pitches, proposals, and presentations for prospective clients.
- Help manage CRM systems (HubSpot and Pipedrive) to track leads, interactions, and pipeline progress.
- Participate in outreach efforts, including email campaigns, cold calling, and social media engagement to generate leads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, and operations) to align business development goals.
- Attend networking events and meetings to build relationships and represent the company.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling meetings or updating databases.
Qualifications:
-Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's program in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in business development, sales, or entrepreneurship.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with construction documents and CRM tools is a plus.
- Basic understanding of market research and data analysis.
- Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Prior experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is preferred but not required.
What You'll Gain:
- Practical experience in business development processes and strategies.
- Mentorship from experienced professionals in sales and marketing.
- Exposure to real client interactions and project management.
- Opportunities to build a professional network and portfolio.
- Potential for academic credit (if applicable) and a full time position upon graduation.
