Project Manager for Student Information System - Change Management

Summary of Job Duties:
The Project Manager for the Student Information System is responsible for assisting in the administrative and technical operations of the unit. This role reports to the Administrative Operations and Security Lead for Workday Student and serves as their backup when needed.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
• Developing and delivering Workday Student inbound and outbound integrations, along with associated documentation.
• Assigning Workday Student security.
• Assisting the Administrative Operations and Security Lead, Associate Director and Technical Lead, and Director as needed.
• Collaborating with the Workday Student core team, campus functional offices, and Project One to create or modify business process configurations, generate Workday reports, and manage Workday Student integrations.
• Assisting with procurement, purchasing, and travel logistics for the Workday Student support team.
• Supporting inventory tracking and management in coordination with the Director.
• Managing and responding to help tickets within the Workday Student Team Dynamics system and contributing to the project management system.
• Working closely with the Director, Technical Lead, and IT Services to document, develop, and design Workday Student integrations.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Experience working with an information system
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Familiarity with University of Arkansas campus community
Understanding of functional processes within an information system including security
Knowledge of technical writing foundations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of assessment and ability to use skills to determine user needs
Able to navigate a student system and assist with its maintenance
Comfort working with a diverse group of users
Able to work as a team and act as a positive representative of the University
Able to work independently with strong time management and organizational skills
Salary Information:
$61,735
