About the Trek:

Lynk on the Road Tech Trek: Silicon Valley/San Francisco is a multi-day trip that will take place in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. During this trek, participants will meet with MHC alums and employers in tech and tech-related fields. 

All applicants are required to travel with the group from March 16, 2026, to March 20, 2026 (during Spring Break). Travel, food, and lodging expenses will be covered by the College.

Who Should Apply:

Open to all majors and class years, and preference will be given to juniors and seniors 

How to Apply:

Please submit your resume and a cover letter answering the following questions through Handshake by January 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM:

1. Explain why you are interested in this Tech Trek (100 words minimum).
2. Describe your qualifications and/or experience in this field.
3. What questions do you have for the employers and alums you will engage with?
4. Outline three things you would like to share about yourself with both employers and alums. 
5.  Are you able to commit to attending the full trip and traveling to and from MHC during that time frame? Do you understand that failure to attend or notify the CDC within 72 hours could result in a loss of funding for future events?

6. Is there anything else you would like us to know or any supplemental information you wish to provide?

Key Dates:

- Applications are due by Friday, January 30, at 5:00 PM.
- There will be a mandatory in-person orientation during the week of March 9.

Important! 

Students selected for this trip will be required to travel with the group from MHC to California and return with the group from California to MHC. Independent travel arrangements are not permitted.
