About Us

Amrap.ai is an NYC-based startup building the next generation of fitness apps - a conversational personal trainer you can train with in real time at the gym.

We’re launching our full app experience in February, and we currently have a limited public web version live.

As we gear up for launch and everything that follows, we’re looking for a creative, motivated intern who loves content, social media, and marketing to help grow our Instagram and TikTok presence and support community interactions. Expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and interest in fitness/strength training are a plus.

This Spring internship is eligible for academic credit, and our team is happy to support any student who wishes to petition their school for credit.


Role Overview

This is a part-time internship of 10-20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule designed around the student’s academic calendar.

You’ll help ideate, script, edit, and publish short-form videos, engage with our community, and experiment with new AI tools to create faster and better.

This is ideal for someone who already makes or loves content, loves TikTok/IG culture, and wants to grow in a fast-paced startup.
 

What You'll Do

  • Help develop the social media strategy for the brand.
  • Assist in shaping our brand voice and storytelling style.
  • Create short-form video content and carousels.
  • Support social posting, trend scouting, and content calendars.
  • Help manage comments + DMs to build a strong community.
  • Use AI tools (Sora, ChatGPT, Nano Banana Pro) to boost productivity.
  • Optional: help with Reddit posts and community growth.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Must-haves
    • Creativity, motivation, and passion for content and social media.
    • Strong understanding of TikTok/Instagran trends and formats.
    • You already create content (personal, UGC, or creator-style).
    • Interest in AI tools for content creation.
    • Self-driven, proactive, and excited about growing a brand.
    • Basic editing skills (CapCut, IG Edits, TikTok editor and Canva).
  • Nice-to-haves
    • Experience with AI content creation tools (Sora, Nano Banana Pro, Higgsfield, HeyGen, Runway,…) as well as AI social media automation tools (ManyChat, Zapier, MailChimp,…).
    • Interest in fitness or strength training.
    • Experience with Youtube Shorts, Facebook and Reddit.
