Your next great career step starts here! Join Cross Country Education and be the driving force that helps students achieve more than they ever thought possible. We're partnering with schools in Phoenix, AZ, to find a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the '25-'26 school year! 

Position Overview:

  • Deliver specialized instruction within a self-contained Level C classroom setting for 10–12 students in grades 4-6, successfully integrating and supporting students who transition in and out of the setting throughout the school year.
  • Address and update all existing and pending Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to accurately reflect student progress, while effectively developing and implementing new IEPs.
  • Direct the efforts of classroom paraprofessionals and collaborate closely with the assigned behavior coach to implement positive behavior support plans and maintain a structured, safe learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
    • Master's Degree (Preferred)
  • Valid Arizona Special Education Certification
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Prior experience managing a self-contained, behavioral, or Level C special education classroom (Preferred)
