A. Uzzo & Company CPAs PC is seeking a motivated Accounting & Tax Intern for the Winter/Spring tax season. This internship offers hands-on experience in individual and business income tax preparation, as well as exposure to the day-to-day operations of a busy public accounting firm during its peak season.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing individual, partnership, and corporate income tax returns

Organize and analyze client source documents

Support bookkeeping and basic accounting tasks as needed

Maintain electronic files and assist with office workflows during tax season

Collaborate with staff and partners on various projects and administrative tasks

Qualifications:

Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

Strong communication and organizational skills

Interest in public accounting and income tax preparation
