About the Role
Job Store Staffing is seeking a motivated Mechanical or Industrial Engineering student for a part-time internship with our client, Hunter Douglas, at their Broomfield campus. This role is a great opportunity for a student to gain hands-on engineering experience in a leading manufacturing environment while balancing academic commitments.
The position offers schedule flexibility, but requires being onsite during standard business hours (7:30am–4:00pm) on the days you work to collaborate directly with the engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Process Standardization – standard work creation and revision, cycle time measurements
- Installed Capacity – measurements and analysis of equipment and processes
- Best Practices – understanding, documentation, and training support
- Cost Savings Projects – assisting in identifying and executing efficiency improvements
- Process Improvement Projects – hands-on contributions to workflow optimization
- Safety & Ergonomics – supporting workplace safety and ergonomic initiatives
- Data Analysis – gathering, reviewing, and presenting engineering data
- Organization – helping streamline and maintain the engineering work area
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage part-time hours around school
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to commute to the Broomfield a few times per week during the 7:30am–4:00pm window
