Student Employee
Position Summary:
Student Employment job duties will vary depending on the needs of the MFT Division. Types of duties may include but may not be limited to:
- Clerical functions (copying, collating, word processing, filing, answering phones, etc.)
- Assisting with academic activities within the department (e.g., learning grading, assisting with publication of activities in Canvas)
- Provide customer service to students, other Chicago School departments, and the public
- Other duties as assigned
Student employees are expected to maintain compliance with Federal Privacy laws when accessing confidential student information. The level of supervision will vary from close to working independently depending upon specific agreed-to responsibilities and student experience.
Experience and Technical Skills:
- Experience required will vary depending on specific job duties and/or departmental needs
- Appropriate verbal and written communication skills
- Related coursework may be required
- Must be currently enrolled at and in good academic standing with The Chicago School
Please note: Some jobs require specific skills, such as bilingual abilities, heavy lifting, certification/licensure, computer software expertise, etc. Interested candidates must contact the Financial Aid office prior to submitting your application to ensure eligibility in the federal work study program. Student employment positions are at-will and non-exempt (hourly paid) positions that are typically limited to 20 hours per week maximum. Total allowable hours worked will be determined by the hiring Department. Location varies based on departmental needs.

This opportunity is budgeted at $17 - $18.00/hr base compensation. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
