Asset Management Analyst
ASSET MANAGEMENT ANALYST
Presidium is seeking an ambitious undergraduate student pursuing a degree in business, real estate, finance or a related field to join our investment team as an Asset Management Analyst. This hands-on internship provides direct exposure to multifamily asset management, including performance tracking, valuation, budgeting, and value-add execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in periodic valuations and hold/sell analyses
- Update property-level financial models (cash flows, waterfalls, return scenarios)
- Support the monthly investor reporting process
- Conduct rent comps, submarket research, and trend analysis
- Analyze value-add renovation ROI and capital expenditure requests as needed
- Help prepare lender reporting packages as needed
- Assist in the preparation of investor reporting, waterfall calculations, and distribution memos
- Assist in the preparation and tracking of capital calls, as needed
- Shadow asset managers on property calls, site visits, and investor updates
- Ad-hoc modeling and research projects
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Current undergraduate student (sophomore or senior preferred) at an accredited university
- Strong academic performance (GPA 3.3+ preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Genuine interest in real estate investment and asset management
- Prior internship in real estate a plus
- Coursework in real estate finance, investments, or accounting a plus
