Duties:
- Assist in day-to-day engineering activities, working as a part of a multi-discipline engineering team.
- Support walkdowns, data gathering, troubleshooting, and developing engineering solutions.
- Assist in the creation of engineering deliverables (drawings, engineering instructions, reports, calculations, etc.).
Job-Related Qualifications Required:
Pursuing a degree in a relevant engineering field (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, etc.).
Preferred candidate will have:
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and ability to critically think.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, high computer aptitude with ability to learn new software (CAD, etc.).
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working in a team environment.
• Knowledge of Industry Codes and Standards (AISC, ASME, IBC, NEC, NFPA, etc.).
The 2026 UCOR Summer Internship Program is a 12-week program held from late May to early August. You must be able to be onsite for the entire internship program.
