Part-time Algebra 2 Teacher
Job description
Established Private Preparatory schools located in Arcadia, California, are seeking a charismatic Algebra 2 math teacher for a part-time position. Classes are small with fewer than 15 students. The class is specifically designed to support high school students, review content learned in school, and teach challenging questions and word problems beyond what is typically taught in school.
Class Time:
Tuesday and Thursday, 3 pm to 6 pm or 4 pm to 6 pm, depending on the teacher's availability
Candidate should:
- Have finished a Bachelor's degree
- Be versed in classroom management
- Ideal applicant is credentialed or preliminary credentialed
- Have 6 months of teaching experience
- Have experience working with high school-aged students
- Commit to a set teaching schedule from January 5, 2026, to May 29, 2026
