We are a boutique financial services firm specializing in business management for music and entertainment professionals, small businesses, and high–net-worth families. Our team provides third-party CFO services, financial concierge support, and full-service account management for a dynamic client roster. We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and growth-minded Business Management Associate to join our team.
Position Overview
The Business Management Associate will begin with a strong emphasis on administrative support and the foundation of account management workflows. This role is ideal for someone who excels in organization, accuracy, and follow-through—and who is eager to learn the business management profession from the ground up.
As mastery of administrative responsibilities is demonstrated, the role will expand into client account management, offering a growth opportunity within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Support
- Monitor and manage company email accounts.
- Retrieve and process both physical and electronic mail.
- Electronically save, categorize, and file important documents, notices, contracts, and receipts.
- Download and save client touring itineraries and contracts to maintain updated business management spreadsheets, calendars, and schedules.
Client Expense & Financial Record Management
- Perform client bookkeeping using QuickBooks (training provided).
- Handle accounts payable for both business and personal expenses.
- Request client approvals for payments when required.
- Download banking and credit card transactions into QuickBooks.
- Reconcile client accounts and follow up on discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly account balance summaries and process transfers as directed.
- Maintain client expense logs for quarterly bill-backs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
- Coursework or experience in accounting, finance, or music business is a plus but not required.
- Prior internship or work experience in administrative, financial, or entertainment environments welcomed but not mandatory.

- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a schedule of daily, weekly, monthly and less frequent tasks.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Discretion and reliability when working with confidential information.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow toward account management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and aptitude for learning new software (QuickBooks training provided).
