You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life through intuitive and engaging digital interfaces.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate business requirements and user needs into thoughtful user journeys, wireframes, and polished visual designs.

  • Participate in ideation sessions, design sprints, and iterative prototyping using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

  • Design for multiple user types across web and iOS platforms, including patients, healthcare providers, and caregivers.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to refine your designs and inform design decisions.

  • Apply accessibility best practices to ensure interfaces are inclusive and user-friendly.

  • Build interactive prototypes using variables, auto-layouts, and components in Figma to model complex workflows.

  • Collaborate with engineers and product teams to ensure designs are faithfully implemented.

Who You Are

  • Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates a human-centered approach to solving design problems, especially in task- or data-centric interfaces.

  • Proficient with Figma (required); familiarity with Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is a plus.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend your design rationale.

  • Passion for building inclusive and accessible products with real-world impact.

  • Bonus: familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Miro for cross-functional collaboration.

What You’ll Gain

  • Real-world experience working on a professional product from concept to prototype.

  • Exposure to the startup ecosystem and private equity-backed technology ventures.

  • College credit or fulfillment of internship/practicum program requirements (as applicable).

  • A portfolio-ready case study that showcases your impact.
