OTA Reliability Intern

Internship Opportunity: OTA / Reliability Test Technician

🌟 About the Role

We’re looking for motivated college interns to join our OTA / Reliability Wireless Team in Santa Clara. This internship offers hands-on experience in testing wireless devices, supporting engineering teams, and learning how reliability and quality assurance are managed in a professional laboratory environment.

You’ll gain exposure to real-world testing procedures, data management, and cross-team collaboration—all while developing technical and professional skills that will set you apart in your career.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

As an intern, you will:

  • Work closely with engineers and senior technicians to conduct reliability testing on wireless devices.
  • Learn and follow established test methods, safety protocols, and operational guidelines.
  • Record, manage, and analyze test results with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with data entry, test plans, and database updates (METrak or similar systems).
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying anomalies or trends in test results.
  • Participate in interdepartmental projects, company-sponsored events, and administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to quality system activities, including round robin testing.
  • Communicate effectively with engineers, project coordinators, and other team members.

  • Currently enrolled in a college program (Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related fields preferred).

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communicators with solid interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

🌟 Bonus Skills (Not Required, but Nice to Have)

  • Prior experience with reliability testing or quality inspections.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments.
  • Amateur photography (DSLR experience).
  • Strong technical curiosity and problem-solving mindset.
