Insurance Account Intern

Internship Opportunity:

Eric Atwell State Farm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist with customer service tasks and support our insurance agents in acquiring and retaining customers. Responsibilities:

• Support the agency’s business objectives through assigned tasks and projects.
• Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including handling inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing.
• Assist customers using a needs-based approach to educate them about insurance products and services.
• Communicate effectively to address customer needs while supporting business development efforts.

Qualifications:

• Must be a full-time student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program for the duration of the internship.
• Coursework or interest in Insurance, Financial Services, Real Estate, Marketing, or related fields is preferred.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with keen attention to detail.
