Program Summary

A Summer Internship at Heraeus Medevio offers students immersive, project-based experiences in fields like engineering, operations, and marketing. Interns contribute to real-world medical device innovations while receiving professional mentorship and industry exposure. This will be an on-site position in our White Bear Lake, MN location.

Position Summary 

The Supply Chain Interns could support procurement, inventory management, and logistics activities to ensure efficient operations across the supply chain. Responsibilities may include assisting with data analysis and process improvement initiatives, with projects that may involve product planning and warehouse optimization. These role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, providing exposure to end-to-end supply chain functions.

Two Supply Chain Interns are intended to be hired at our White Bear Lake, MN location for summer 2026. 

What You’ll Do Every Day:

• Provide general support to the supply chain and procurement team.
• Participate in driving planning, scheduling, and inventory process improvements. 
• Support the develop, optimization and integration of detailed business schedules in a lean environment, to achieve the business goals.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external business partners including suppliers, supervisors and team leads, logistics/warehouse groups and material planners.
• Assist with cost savings/inventory reduction initiatives.
• Participate in other supply chain and operations team meetings and activities.
• Respond to changing priorities in a timely manner.
• Other duties assigned as required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable program.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
• Ability to work full-time onsite during the duration of the internship or co-op.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of supply chain, procurement, and logistics knowledge. 
• Adept at using Excel; comfortable with MS Project.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
• Driven to learn more about real-world application of academic engineering concepts.

Medevio is committed to providing competitive total compensation and benefits packages. The expected hiring range for this position is between $20.00/hr and $26.00/hr based upon the position and is subject to variation based on the number of years of school completed. This is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Base salaries are determined by taking a variety of factors in account, including, but not limited to, candidate qualifications, geographic locations, market conditions and internal equity. Our total compensation package for interns and co-ops may also include eligibility for a 401(k) plan with company match and paid time off.
