Sales Development Intern
Job Description:
Lace Layer is a fast-growing beauty brand offering a specialized line of salon-quality lace wig essentials—including lace adhesives, wig removers, melt sprays, lace tint, wig install kits, and premium HD lace wigs. We serve a diverse and style-conscious audience across the U.S. and are expanding our B2B outreach to connect with salons, stylists, beauty retailers, and cosmetology schools.
We’re seeking a part-time Sales Development Intern to follow up with warm B2B leads via phone, introduce our products, and assist in building relationships with potential wholesale or retail partners. This is a remote position with flexible scheduling and a focus on phone outreach and lead tracking.
Responsibilities:
Call and follow up with warm stylist/salon leads using provided scripts and talking points
Educate prospects about our core product line: lace glue, freeze spray, remover, tint, and install kits
Answer common objections and refer deeper questions to the team
Log call outcomes, notes, and follow-ups in Airtable/CRM
Coordinate messaging with the cold outreach team
Attend short weekly check-ins and provide progress updates
Qualifications:
Comfortable and confident speaking on the phone with new contacts
Interested in beauty, hair care, or supporting stylist communities
Organized, proactive, and self-directed in your work
Currently in school or recently graduated (preferred)
Able to work remotely with stable internet and quiet space
Professional, communicative, and willing to track and share progress

Details:

Credit: Option to receive course credit (depending on your school’s requirements)
