SUMMARY

Build, automate, and manage databases, database systems, maintenance, and security.

CLASSIFICATION

Salaried; full-time; work remote, with weekly onsite and virtual meetings as needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and maintain databases and their architectures.
2. Automate processes with AI and other tools.
3. Optimize databases.
4. Manage security and access controls.
5. Develop and test backup and recovery plans.
6. Collaborate with staff on database solutions, applications and automation.
7. Integrate new technologies.
8. Provide technical support.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND TRAINING

1. An AS or BS degree in MIS, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
2. Experience in database management; 2 yrs minimum preferred.
3. Proficiency in NoSQL, Parquet, Python, Snowflake data warehouse.
4. Experience with database automation tools and scripting languages.
5. Experience with AI for database processes and applications.
6. Experience in ecommerce, Amazon FBA data analytics.
7. Strong understanding of database design and data modeling.
8. Experience in performance optimizing, tuning, backup, recovery, and security.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. High level of organizational skills, business acumen, professionalism, and leadership.
11. Hard-working, self-motivated, team-focused, and goal-oriented.
