Retail Sales and Warehouse Associate for Moonlight Arts Collective

Who We Are:
Moonlight Arts Collective is a continually evolving community of like-minded artists who "moonlight" to create artwork in all forms. An expedition in collaboration showcasing specially curated original artwork exhibitions, unique artist editions, artist talks, events and much more.

What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for an innovative retail sales and gallery associate to assist us at our new Detroit retail location. As an integral member of our in-store team, this role will help with sales floor upkeep, assisting customers throughout their shopping experience, as well as helping pack and ship online orders. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver a personalized, client-centric experience, fostering strong and lasting relationships to drive repeat business as well as possess a knowledge and passion for art in all forms

This role works closely with: CEO and the retail operations manager.

Job Responsibilities
• Assist in inventory management of sales floor
• Assisting clients with their shopping experience
• Complete transactions via Shopify POS at cash wrap
• Assist in pulling, packing, and shipping orders from our online store

Skills & Experience
• 1-3 years using the Shopify POS system preferred
• 1-3 years of retail or client service experience preferred
• 1-3 years of inventory management experience preferred
• 1-3 years of shipping and receiving experience preferred
• Knowledge of art, record, and books preferred
• Comfort in both front of and back of house operations

Software Programs
• Shopify - required
• Social Media Platforms (IG, FB, Twitter, Threads) - preferred
