Sales Intern
We are seeking a motivated and high-energy Sales Intern to join our Business Development team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and passionate about building a career in sales, client engagement, and digital technology. This role offers hands-on exposure to lead generation, CRM tools, market research, and the end-to-end sales cycle while working closely with senior sales and delivery leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and identify potential clients across targeted industries.
- Support outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and CRM tools.
- Maintain and update lead databases with accurate customer information.
Sales Operations
- Assist in preparing proposals, pitch decks, quotes, and client-facing materials.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Delivery, HR) to collect required inputs for RFPs, presentations, and meetings.
- Help track sales pipeline progress and prepare weekly reports.
Client Engagement
- Participate in introductory client calls and document meeting notes.
- Support follow-up communication and assist with scheduling demos or discussions.
Market & Competitive Research
- Conduct research on industry trends, target accounts, and competitor offerings.
- Provide insights that help strengthen positioning and sales strategy.
Administrative & Coordination Tasks
- Assist with organizing events, webinars, and customer presentations.
- Help with CRM data hygiene, tracking KPIs, and preparing internal updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Working knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Eagerness to learn sales processes, tools, and technologies.
- Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
- Prior internship experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
