LEGO Robotics Instructor

Learn2Code.Live offers student-centered, hands-on coding and robotics classes for K-12 students in Los Angeles, CA. We’re looking for enthusiastic, high-energy instructors who are passionate about teaching the essential 21st-century skill of coding to kids.

What You’ll Do

  • Create a fun, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
  • Be punctual, organized, and efficient to ensure smooth class operations
  • Follow provided curriculum and lesson plans while setting goals and motivating students
  • Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and offer guidance to help students succeed
  • Inspire and motivate students by identifying learning styles and applying creative teaching methods
  • Collaborate effectively with students, parents, and fellow instructors to achieve course objectives
  • Provide insights and feedback to improve curriculum, instructional methods, and overall student experience
  • Work independently as a self-starter while communicating with our team as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Current computer science student or recent computer science graduate
  • Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, C/C++, Scratch, or experience with LEGO Robotics, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Micro:bit
  • Comfortable with technology and confident using computers
  • Creative, assertive, and able to keep students engaged during lessons
  • Empathetic and able to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
  • Comfortable teaching elementary, middle, and high school students in a classroom setting
