Responsibilities
- Lead interactive classes in videography and digital storytelling using Learn2Code.Live’s curriculum
- Teach students the fundamentals of filming, storyboarding, camera angles, lighting, and editing
- Guide students in creating short films and video projects that demonstrate their creativity
- Create a fun, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and self-expression
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and program coordinators
- Be punctual, organized, and dependable in running your classes
Qualifications
- Passion for videography, film, or media arts
- Basic knowledge of camera operation, framing, lighting, and editing tools
- Comfortable teaching and interacting with children and teens
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Dependable, professional, and enthusiastic about teaching
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using computers and video equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching, mentoring, or working with youth
- Knowledge of editing software such as iMovie, Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro
- Background in Film, Media, Communications, or Education
Location
In-person classes held at partner schools across Los Angeles, CA.
Compensation
