Are you a passionate educator ready to make a significant impact in the aerospace industry? Spherion Staffing is seeking a motivated and dynamic Instructor to join the Training Department at a leading aerospace facility in the greater Seattle area.

We are looking for individuals, including Military Veterans, who are eager to empower aerospace employees with the essential skills needed for success in manufacturing and production.

Prior Aerospace experience is not required.

The Role: Aerospace Instructor

You will be the key driver in delivering engaging, hands-on training programs centered on aerospace manufacturing systems. Your expertise will cover vital areas such as:

• Electrical installations
• Mechanical skills and assembly
• Sealant application techniques
• Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)

📅 Schedule & Travel

• Shifts: Flexibility to work across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts (as needed).
• Travel: Willingness to travel between facility locations in the Everett to Puyallup area.
• Reimbursement: Mileage reimbursement is provided for qualifying commutes beyond the closest work location ($0.70 per mile).

💰 Compensation & Benefits

• Standard Rate: $32.00 per hour (Paid weekly through Spherion).
• Overtime Rate: $48.00 per hour (Available for extra shifts).

Key Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required for this high-level project.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Professional professional, business casual dress code.
• Excellent opportunity for contract extension based on performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong technical foundation and the ability to teach complex concepts clearly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior teaching or instructional experience is a plus, but not strictly required.
• Ability to manage basic technology for training delivery.

Core Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, engaging lesson plans and training materials aligned with industry standards.
• Provide both theoretical instruction and practical demonstrations, ensuring trainees gain essential hands-on experience.
• Maintain a safe, conducive, and inclusive learning environment, strictly adhering to all safety protocols.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. In addition, Spherion offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, and an incentive and recognition program (all benefits are based on eligibility).
