Part-Time Coding & Robotics Instructor (In-Person | Van Nuys, CA)

Learn2Code.Live delivers fun, engaging, and hands-on coding and robotics classes for K–12 students. We’re seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and tech-driven Coding & Robotics Instructors to join our team in Van Nuys, California.

Whether you’re a computer science student, recent graduate, or a professional looking for a meaningful part-time teaching role, this position allows you to share your passion for technology — with no lesson planning required. We provide a complete, ready-to-teach curriculum.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead interactive, project-based coding and robotics lessons for K–12 students
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and collaboration
  • Follow the provided curriculum and guide students through hands-on activities
  • Support and motivate students as they develop programming and problem-solving skills
  • Communicate clearly with students, parents, and the Learn2Code.Live team
  • Offer constructive insights to help strengthen curriculum and instructional quality

Who We’re Looking For

  • Computer Science major, graduate, or tech enthusiast with coding experience
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following:

Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, C/C++, Scratch
Robotics tools/platforms: LEGO Spike Essential, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Micro:bit

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively
  • Passionate about working with kids and making learning exciting and accessible
  • Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to teach in person in Van Nuys, CA

Preferred (But Not Required)

  • Experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring youth
  • Background in STEM education or after-school programs
