Learn2Code.Live is looking for enthusiastic ASL Instructors to teach fun, hands-on after-school classes for K–12 students. Whether you’re a student, recent graduate, ASL major, Deaf Studies student, or professional seeking a rewarding part-time role, this opportunity is open to you!

All curriculum, lesson materials, and training are fully provided—no lesson planning needed. Just bring your passion, reliability, and love for working with kids.

About the Role

As an ASL Instructor, you’ll lead in-person classes designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of ASL and Deaf culture. You will follow our structured curriculum (linked in the posting), making it easy to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.

What You’ll Do

  • Teach interactive ASL classes using our provided curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Adapt lessons for various grade levels (K–12)
  • Encourage student participation and maintain classroom engagement
  • Communicate professionally with school staff, teachers, and parents
  • Provide simple, constructive feedback on student progress
  • Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to inspire students

Who We’re Looking For

Ideal applicants are:

  • Passionate about ASL, communication, and education
  • Proficient in American Sign Language (basic, intermediate, or advanced welcome)
  • Comfortable working with children and youth
  • Patient, responsible, and enthusiastic
  • Excellent communicators
  • Reliable with consistent transportation to our Van Nuys class location
  • Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not required
