Sales Analyst

Job Description – Sales Analyst

Location: East Windsor, NJ

Summary/Objective

The Sales Analyst supports AdvaGen Pharma’s commercial organization by monitoring customer forecasts and compliance, preparing sales presentations, assisting with data entry, and providing analytical support to the sales team. This role ensures accuracy in customer data, helps streamline communication between internal teams, and delivers clear sales summaries and reports that enable effective decision-making and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review customer forecasts, purchasing patterns, and compliance with contracted volumes.
  • Track customer performance and notify Sales leadership of changes, risks, or opportunities.
  • Prepare customer-facing PowerPoint presentations, sales decks, and meeting materials.
  • Compile sales summaries, performance reports, and account-level updates for internal and external use.
  • Assist with data entry into ERP, CRM, and internal sales tracking systems with high accuracy.
  • Consolidate and analyze data from multiple internal and customer sources to support sales activities.
  • Support the preparation of information for customer business reviews and quarterly updates.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure sales insights, forecasts, and updates are shared in a timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for customer forecasts, sales reporting, and compliance tracking.
  • Assist Finance and Pricing teams with sales data needed for deductions, chargebacks, and pricing validation.
  • Maintain accurate and organized customer records, item files, and sales documents.
  • Support efforts to improve reporting accuracy, streamline processes, and enhance sales operations efficiency.
  • Load data into various customer portals as required.
  • Prepare RFP and Bid Submissions

Education and Experience

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • Experience with sales analytics, sales operations, or data administration preferred.
  • Familiarity with generic pharmaceutical business, wholesale/retail distribution, or healthcare markets is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong Excel skills and comfort handling data (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, formulas).
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, public speaking, and organizational skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to build clear, professional presentations.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with MS Power BI preferred.
  • Ability to work with data from multiple sources and maintain accuracy.
  • Knowledge of records management and documentation best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and support cross-functional teams.

Position Type

Regular full-time, on-site (100%)

* Note-Intern would also be acceptable. Students must be available for at least 6 months of internship.
