Job Description
Insight Exposure & Risk Sciences is seeking highly motivated candidates for internship positions located in our Boulder, Colorado, office for Summer 2026. Note, remote work arrangements may be considered based on experience and overall fit. The start and end dates of the internship are flexible by individual, but a minimum 10-week, 40-hour-per-week commitment is required. Persons who apply should have the desire and ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment on diverse, multidisciplinary projects. Projects and research will be technically based on the risk assessment paradigm, and may span work across the areas of industrial hygiene and exposure sciences, epidemiology, and toxicology.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews and related research (e.g. scientific and regulatory research), including critical evaluation of scientific literature
- Perform data entry, management, and data analysis
- Assist with scientific publications, presentations, and preparation of client deliverables, under supervision
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program, with experience or coursework in one or more of the following disciplines:
- Epidemiology
- Industrial Hygiene
- Toxicology
- Exposure Assessment
- Biostatistics
- Risk Assessment
- Environmental Sciences
- Occupational & Environmental Health
- Chemical Engineering
- Similar training/experience with a quantitative science or engineering emphasis

Compensation and Benefits:
The wage range for this position is $24-32 per hour. A relocation stipend will be provided for temporary relocation to Boulder, Colorado, for the position.
This is a temporary, hourly position and not eligible for benefits to the extent permitted by applicable law.
