Bachelor's-Level Mental Health Clinician

Position Overview 

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Bachelor's-level mental health clinician to join our growing practice in Philadelphia. This position offers excellent hands-on clinical experience under the supervision of a clinical supervisor. Ideal for those seeking experience in the mental health field or working toward graduate education.

Position Type 

Part-Time Independent Contractor 
Flexible scheduling available 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Provide supportive counseling and psychoeducation to clients under clinical supervision 
  • Conduct intake assessments and gather client history 
  • Assist with treatment plan development and implementation 
  • Provide case management services and coordinate care 
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation 
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision sessions 
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, prescribers, and other team members 
  • Assist with crisis intervention and safety planning under supervision 
  • Monitor client progress and report updates to clinical supervisor 
  • Connect clients with community resources and support services 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, or related field 
  • Strong interest in mental health and helping others 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn EHR systems 
  • Reliable and professional demeanor 
  • Ability to work as an independent contractor 

Preferred: 

  • Previous experience in mental health, social services, or related field 
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders 
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles 
  • Understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning 
  • Bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus 
  • Currently enrolled in or planning to pursue graduate education in counseling, social work, or psychology
