Business Development Manager

The Frozen Bean is a global leader in premium beverage innovations — from café-style frappes and flavored matcha to functional collagen hydration and soft-serve mixes. We partner with top retailers, foodservice distributors, and eCommerce platforms to bring “café quality at home” to customers around the world. We are seeking a driven Business Development & Client Success Manager to strengthen customer relationships, drive new business, and ensure long-term client satisfaction.

Position Overview

This role is a hybrid of inside sales and account management. You will be responsible for managing and growing existing client accounts while identifying new sales opportunities. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, ensuring client needs are met, problems are solved quickly, and revenue opportunities are maximized.

Key Responsibilities

Client Success & Account Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring a high-quality experience from onboarding to ongoing support.

Build long-term relationships with key accounts, understanding their business goals and aligning Frozen Bean solutions to meet them.

Proactively monitor client performance (orders, sell-through, promotions) and recommend strategies to increase success.

Address and resolve client issues quickly, escalating internally when needed.

Partner with marketing to deliver promotional programs, product launches, and brand-building opportunities to clients.

Business Development & Sales Growth

Drive revenue growth within existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and expanding product placement.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities via inbound leads, referrals, trade shows, and proactive outreach.

Maintain an active sales pipeline, track progress in CRM/ERP, and meet or exceed monthly sales goals.

Collaborate with the sales leadership team to support distributor, retail, and eCommerce channel growth.

Collaboration & Reporting

Provide account performance reports and client feedback to management for continuous improvement.

Work with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and service delivery.

Support the development of proposals, presentations, and pitch materials for new clients.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in business development, account management, or inside sales (CPG, food & beverage, or related industries preferred).

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems (SAP, Salesforce, or similar).

Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to balance multiple client relationships simultaneously.

Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
