2026 Mobility Strategic Operations Intern, NY & DC
About the Role
We are looking for current students to join The US & Canada Mobility Operations Team this summer for 12 weeks!
In this role, you will support one of our high growth businesses and use insights to help Uber prioritize initiatives and reach conclusions. As part of the summer internship program, your deliverable will be business recommendations and initiatives that support the US & Canada Mobility Team. You’ll be embedded within our Operations Team, seeing first-hand how we execute and directly contributing to some of our key Mobility priorities, which have broader company impact.
What You’ll Do
- Partner closely with our Mobility Operations Team that runs our Rides business in the US and Canada
- Work cross-functionally across partner groups to meet operational goals
- Apply business scoping and account management to assist with decision making business opportunities
- Solve problems and/or identify solutions that will improve the overall experience for our drivers and riders
Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a BS/BA program with expected graduation date of December 2027 - May 2028
- Basic knowledge of Google Suite
- Experience working with Artificial Intelligence tools (eg. Google Gemini, Chat GPT, Claude or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience synthesizing information quickly, distilling key takeaways, and presenting insights to leadership
- Effective, clear, and concise communication skills, verbal and written.
- Self starter and can work well with ambiguity
- Involvement in extracurricular groups, activities, or internship opportunities
- Experience working with large sets of structured and unstructured data and synthesizing into business insights (e.g., using SQL, Salesforce). Nice to have but not required.
- Having found ways to leverage AI tools to uplevel your own productivity or quality of work is a plus.
About the Team
The US&C Mobility Operations team is responsible for growing rideshare and new verticals businesses. This includes developing and executing on strategies for growing rider, driver, and fleet engagement; for managing and improving our regulatory and compliance commitments and strategy; for managing our highly complex marketplace; and for identifying and pursuing new frontiers for growth.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base hourly rate amount for this role is USD$30.00 per hour.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base hourly rate amount for this role is USD$30.00 per hour.
