Hoofbeats with Heart is a leading provider of In-Home and In-Clinic therapy services throughout Central Arizona. Our success is built on a compassionate, skilled, and innovative team dedicated to changing lives through exceptional therapy services.

We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic and supportive team. Full-time, part-time, and contract positions are available with flexible scheduling. Services are provided throughout the Arizona Valley, with equine-assisted therapy offered at our San Tan Valley location.

 

 

 Equine-Assisted Speech Therapy

At Hoofbeats with Heart, SLPs integrate equine-assisted activities to enhance communication outcomes in a motivating, sensory-rich environment.

Horses are used to encourage communication, social interaction, AAC use, and expressive/receptive language.

Sessions may include grooming, leading, sensory walks, and structured language activities around the horses.

All required equine safety and handling training is provided at no cost, ensuring clinicians feel confident and supported in this unique therapeutic setting.

Responsibilities & Duties

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders

Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans

Supervise Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs)

Document all services with clarity, accuracy, and compliance

Provide training and guidance on therapy equipment when appropriate

Maintain strong professional development and complete administrative tasks promptly

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy services

Stay knowledgeable on state regulations and best practices

 

 

 

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree

Arizona Speech Pathology State License

Preferred:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Experience with pediatric, in-home, or equine-assisted therapy (not required, training provided)

Job Types: Full-time | Part-time | Contract
Salary: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour

Monday–Friday
