Talent & Entertainment Intern

CE manages the exchange between Talent, Agencies, Content Creators, and Brands, all while working closely with clients to identify and create impactful relationships that move the needle. We offer 360 degrees of talent services in TV and Film, Radio, Print, Digital, Consumer Branding, Award Shows, Live Events, and more.


The Role

CE is a small business where no job is too small for anyone. We are seeking a stellar Intern to join our team. This will be a hands-on, immersive learning opportunity, to witness behind-the-scene deal-making on behalf of clients between Agents/Publicists/Managers and Networks/Studios/Production Companies/Brands.

 

The ideal candidate must have a fundamental passion for the ever-changing Entertainment Industry as well as possess a running knowledge of its countless facets - Sports, Music, Beauty, & Lifestyle, social impact initiatives and emerging brands. We are looking for someone who works hard and wants to learn about all the different aspects of entertainment. Candidates should have an interest in both traditional celebrities as well as in emerging talent in various specialities including but not limited to: Activists, Streamers, Comedians, Athletes, Musicians, Gamers and Creators/Influencers.

 

Responsibilities

In this role the Intern will regularly convene with the entire team across multiple projects for a minimum of 10 - 20 hours per week. Hours are expected to be completed in person at the CE office space located in Playa Vista. The intern will conduct cross-platform research, maintain grids, and provide perspective and insight as it pertains to upcoming releases and pop culture. Their day-to-day will consist of tracking press breaks, monitoring stories from relevant trades, along with scouting other news sources and information outlets for Entertainment research. They will report directly to our CEO, Jen Proctor.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Current student or recent graduate
  • PR/Marketing Major or related field preferred
  • Advanced data entry skills with great attention to detail
  • Possess a personal computer/laptop and working WiFi access to perform all duties described herein
  • Exemplary computer skills in both Microsoft Office & Google Workspace
  • Familiarity in all social media platforms - Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube etc.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and follow-up skills
  • Positive attitude, professional and enthusiasm for our work with a strong desire to learn
  • Desire to grow within the team as there is potential for this to transition into a full-time role
