Outline of position:
Assist in client meeting preparation process including client emails
Data collection and input
Answer phones and provide client service
Schedule and manage client appointments
Conduct client appointment reminder and Personalized Contact calls
Perform database maintenance and clean-up projects as needed
Eligibility/schedule:
This program is intended for college students in their freshman or Sophomore year. Expectations are up to 20 hours a week Monday through Friday with office hours from 8:30 am to 6 pm starting January 2026. Specific schedules are agreed to between intern and management and are dependent on class schedules, the needs of the firm, and specific assignments/projects. We encourage both in-person and remote applicants to apply.

Effective verbal and written communication with clients, advisors and team
Strong computer and phone skills
Efficient time management, organization, attention to detail, and multitasking skills
Ability to adhere to rules and regulations as stated and required by advisor and Ameriprise Financial
Positive attitude and sincere willingness to continually learn and grow
Education and Other Designations:
High school degree or higher
Enrolled college student interested in the financial services, communications or business
Compensation:
Starting at $17/hour
