Youth Services Specialist

  • Position: Youth Services Specialist; Lavonia-Carnegie Library, Lavonia, GA 
  • Status: Part-time; hourly; some benefits
  • Hours: 24 hours per week; some evening and weekend hours are required
  • Hourly rate: $11.45 per hour

The Youth Services Specialist creates and leads engaging activities and events for children and teens in the library, for both small groups and large gatherings. This position plans and leads a wide variety of programs, identifies and purchases program supplies, designs program marketing materials and social media posts, and records and reports program statistics. They also contribute to department tasks such as shelving and creating displays. This person is responsible, dependable, creative, and comfortable leading groups.
