Creative Production Intern – Film, Video, Audio & Digital Media

About the Opportunity
NewHotMusic.com is a Billboard-charting entertainment company led by an international award-winning producer, director, editor, and sound designer with 200+ global film festival wins.
We create experimental films, music-driven short features, artist profiles, and innovative cross-media content. We’re seeking skilled film and media students who want real production experience using the equipment and facilities available at their university.
Projects are directed remotely and can often be integrated into coursework (pending faculty approval).
What You’ll Do
- Film short cinematic scenes, interviews, and b-roll using 4K or higher cameras
- Choose proper lenses based on light, depth, movement, and scene intention
- Capture clean production audio (lav, shotgun, ambient, vocal clarity)
- Edit footage in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Create graphics, titles, or simple VFX in After Effects
- Retouch stills and promotional images in Photoshop
- Perform light color correction & sound sweetening
- Communicate with faculty as needed to follow proper facility guidelines
- Represent the project professionally when filming on or around campus
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Ability to operate Digiyal Cinema cameras with auto and manual controls
- Knowledge of lens choice (wide, telephoto, prime, low-light, depth control)
- Adobe Premiere Pro editing competency
- Familiarity with After Effects for motion graphics or light VFX
- Understanding of clean audio capture and basic mixing
- File organization and dependable turnaround
