Business Development Associate

Business Development & Talent Support Associate (Entry Level)

Location: Medical Recruitment Strategies Office (Wakefield MA)
Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a communicative and driven Business Development & Talent Support Associate to help generate new client opportunities while supporting our recruiting and onboarding processes. This role blends sales outreach with candidate support and is ideal for someone who enjoys talking to people, building relationships, and contributing directly to company revenue.

You will partner with account managers, recruiters, and compliance specialists to warm leads, support client engagement, move candidates through the hiring pipeline, and ensure a strong experience for both clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Generation & Business Development (Primary Focus)

Conduct outbound outreach to potential clients via phone, email, LinkedIn, and CRM sequences

Share introductory materials, service information, and capability statements with prospects

Schedule introductory meetings or calls for account managers

Maintain CRM records with notes, follow-ups, and lead statuses

Assist with preparing sales decks, proposals, and presentations

Identify new prospects through job boards, company postings, and industry updates

Recruiting & Candidate Support

Communicate interview details, scheduling updates, and next steps to applicants

Log candidate movement accurately in the ATS

Follow up with candidates for missing documentation

Ensure a responsive and professional candidate experience

Compliance & Onboarding Coordination

Track required licenses, certifications, and onboarding items

Coordinate with compliance team to ensure timely completion

Provide clear instructions and reminders to candidates

Confirm all onboarding steps are completed before start date

Assignment & Timesheet Support

Answer routine contractor questions or direct them to the correct team

Collect and submit weekly timesheets accurately and on schedule

Keep clear communication between contractors and internal teams

What We’re Looking For

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Friendly, professional demeanor and comfort speaking with clients and candidates

Interest in sales, business development, or customer outreach

High attention to detail and strong follow-up habits

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Willingness to learn CRM and ATS systems

Preferred (Not Required)

Experience in sales support, recruiting coordination, customer service, call centers, or office operations

Experience with CRM or applicant tracking platforms
