Fundraising Manager

About the Campaign:

Brashad Hasley is a Democratic candidate running to represent Colorado in the U.S. Senate. As a senior software engineer, veteran, and grassroots leader, Brashad is focused on solving everyday problems that affect working Coloradans. His core priorities include affordable healthcare, Al regulation, housing access, and restoring economic balance for working families. This campaign is people-powered.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and resourceful Fundraising Manager who is ready to take on the challenge of building a high-performing grassroots and digital fundraising program. You must be passionate about progressive politics and fundraising innovation, with a proven ability to meet financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a monthly fundraising strategy to help the campaign reach its $1.2M goal by March 2026.
  • Manage donor cultivation and stewardship across digital, individual, and organizational channels.
  • Identify and research prospective donors, organizations, and union based PAC's with campaign values.
  • Organize and oversee in-person and virtual fundraising events across Colorado.
  • Collaborate closely with the Campaign Manager and candidate for effective call time and follow-ups.
  • Track and report fundraising metrics, adapting strategy for real-time effectiveness.
  • Create engaging digital content (emails, SMS, social media fundraising asks).

Requirements:

  • Must be comfortable operating with a limited upfront budget and flexible/commission-based compensation.
  • 1+ years experience in political fundraising or nonprofit development.
  • Track record of raising money via digital channels, major donors, and grassroots events.
  • Familiarity with fundraising compliance (FEC) and CRM systems.
  • Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a "no job too small" mindset.
  • Must be aligned with Brashad Hasley's policy stances and political values.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Colorado's political and donor landscape.
  • Experience with ActBlue and digital fundraising platforms.
  • Comfort with Google Suite, NGP VAN, and CRM systems.
  • Be able to start week of November 24th
