Green Room Theatre Company Coachella Valley (GRTCCV) is a nonprofit theatre company based in Coachella Valley. Since 2008, we’ve produced a variety of plays, focusing on bringing diverse stories and voices to our community. GRTCCV is the only touring theatre company in the Coachella Valley, taking professional theatre into neighborhoods around the valley. 
 

In consultation with the Costume Designer, the Costume Intern will be responsible for scheduling and conducting fittings. Will set up the costume station and keep it organized. Help performers get in and out of their costumes. Assist with quick changes. Collect and organize costumes at the end of performances. Maintain costumes by mending and cleaning them. As well as take notes on changes to costumes throughout the production.

 

Qualities & Skills

  • Knowledge of how to repair and upkeep costumes is desirable, but not necessary.
  • Works well in a team.
  • Can follow directions.
  • Well organized.
