What you’ll do

You’ll work in our warehouse, side by side with our show technicians, and learn how gear moves from shelves to stage and back again:

Pull and stage audio, video, lighting and LED gear for shows and rentals

Help check equipment back in, test basics, and spot damaged or missing items

Coil and label cables, clean gear, and keep shelves organized

Assist with loading/unloading trucks and basic shipping and receiving

Shadow technicians as they prep real show systems and ask lots of questions

No previous AV experience is required. We’ll train you.

What you’ll learn

How professional AV gear is organized, prepped and QC’d for live events

How to read pull sheets and show paperwork

Warehouse best practices that make or break a show day

What we’re looking for

Enrolled student (or recent grad) with interest in AV / live events / production

On time, reliable, comfortable doing physical work and lifting up to ~50–75 lbs

Pays attention to details and is willing to learn and take feedback

Communicates well and works safely around heavy gear and trucks

Transportation: You must have reliable transportation to and from our Portland warehouse. We do not provide transport.

Employment details

This is an at-will, hourly internship at $16.30/hour. MeyerPro and the intern each reserve the right to end the internship at any time, with or without cause or notice, if it’s not a good fit or business needs change.
